Mingyi He is an international student from China. She is pursuing her MSW degree at the Columbia School of Social Work, focusing on clinical practice. She graduated from the University of Minnesota (UMN) with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Cinema and Media Culture. At UMN, she worked with a research project studying bystanders to bullying in college. Mingyi's research interests include discrimination on media, virtual reality therapy, and trauma.
