Kate Sitrin

Kate is currently a graduate student at the Columbia University School of Social Work, in the Advanced Clinical Practice track, expected to graduate in May of 2019. She received her Bachelor's in Integrative Neuroscience from SUNY Binghamton. Before studying for her MSW at Columbia, Kate served in AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps for two years as a Team Leader, working with Non-Profit organizations in service to communities across the Southwest region of the United States. Kate is dedicated to understanding race and racism in all spaces, specifically in how racism presents in the treatment and diagnosis of individuals with mental illness.
